Suggestions for out of the ordinary ways to raise money? Maybe most efficient would be to simply add a donation button to the front of this site.

• donation button on this site
• add advertisements to the site
• Charlette's neighborhood map idea
• Capitol Hill CC t-shirts
• donation drives for specific projects

How about:

• a Silent Auction - get donations from local businesses/artists? I helped a friend organize this for the Junior Debate Foundation.
• an event - Battle of The Bands, Arts/Crafts Fair, etc- where vendor/bands pay a fee to set up shop.
• For CHCC t-shirts - would be cool if we could get local artists to do "limited edition" CHCC tees.
• Business memberships to CHCC (I guess this would be like advertising) - local businesses pay for a membership in exchange for advertisements of their business either on the site or during an event, depending on the program they pay into.
